So, it's official, I'm kind of addicted to the idea of getting my students to blog. I started a new blog on kidblog, not sure if you'll be able to view it, but try selecting the link and let me know if you're able to get through!
Team Inspiration Blog
I can see the blog and blog titles, but the blog requires a log in. You might want to keep it that way as you introduce blogging in your class, and go from there.
ReplyDeleteSo I couldn't see anything either, just like Judy. Did you add your kids to the blog so each one has a page? Did you let them start? Did they like it? I'm excited to try it with my class, and I'm thinking I will on Friday. We'll just have to figure out how to make it so our kids can see each other. (You beat me again, by the way...just like google docs...)
ReplyDeleteJudy, I think I would like to keep it that way for now as well. I have created one fake account that I'll give to everyone in class just so that I could see what it looks like from the students POV.
ReplyDeleteElena, I am going to introduce them to it tomorrow. I will be out on Friday leaving them with specific instructions on what I expect them to do. Thus far I have created a post that asks them to share what books they are currently reading independently, another post that will introduce the idea of random acts of kindness and lastly I want them to create a post of their own reflecting on what they think of the blogging experience. So, fingers crossed that it works!

ReplyDeleteOk, I know it's asking a lot, I changed some settings, you should be able to see it but not comment. Can someone check and see if you can see the blog now?
ReplyDeleteI can see it and see the students are blogging. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteI want to change settings on mine now so other people can see my kids' posts!
ReplyDeleteDo it!
